We are pleased to announce that today we have been notified by our subsidiary from Great Britain – AFORTI PLC – that it has signed a conditional share purchase agreement in an EU company, which obtained the electronic money institution license „EMI”, under respective European Union directives.
The indicated license enables the provision of payment services and the issuing and storage of electronic money.
Upon fulfilment of the conditions of the aforementioned EMI share purchase agreement, AFORTI PLC will be entitled to acquire a controlling shareholding and to commence its operational activities. At the same time, the process of AFORTI PLC listing on the London Stock Exchange will begin.
The acquisition of EMI is in line with the strategy of the AFORTI Group, which aims to become a pan-European supplier of comprehensive financial solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises.
