Next step behind us! AFORTI ON BOARD EMI
We are proud to announce that AFORTI PLC has met the conditions for the acquisition of 9.9% of shares in an EU institution holding an EMI * license.
In this way, a new management board will be appointed, and more importantly, the company will be authorized to operate in the European Union.
We are very pleased with this news, as it will allow us to appoint the company as a supplier of comprehensive financial services throughout the European Union. Additionally, obtaining an EMI license is one of the elements of the Group’s development strategy. Thanks to it, AFORTI can support the sector of Small and Medium Enterprises.
* The EMI license is an electronic money institution. It allows you to issue means of payment in the form of electronic money.
AFORTI Collections in the Debt Collection Market Leaders 2020 ranking
AFORTI Collections ranked 4th in the Debt Collection Market Leaders by Gazeta Finansowa! In 2020, we accepted nearly 195,000 cases with a nominal value of over PLN 900 million. We would like to thank our contractors for their trust.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
March was a record month for the entire AFORTI Group. We ended the first quarter maintaining the dynamics, which gave an increase of 161% compared to the first quarter of 2020. The results are optimistic, giving reasonable hope for even better results in April. We are working hard to purchase a factoring company from Croatia – for this purpose, we have signed the Term Sheet, which means the start of the process of negotiating the final share purchase agreement. Ladies and Gentlemen,
in the second month of 2021, the AFORTI Group maintained its growth dynamics. The entire Group generated sales higher by 135% compared to February last year. We are optimistic about the next months in terms of operational and sales results, and at the same time we are working on processes related to foreign investments. In recent days, we have made a preliminary offer to take over all or a majority stake in a factoring company operating on the Croatian market. More details can be found in the current Newsletter.
